The Society is constantly in need of further donations to meet the ever increasing costs and the need for essential developments.
The Society needs to raise financial support from individuals and also from Professional, Commercial and other organisations with an interest in the continued well being of the citizens of Glasgow and our growing number of visitors.
This remarkable organisation needs to secure local support on an on-going basis to enable us to honour our historic commitment to Glasgow and our fellow citizens.
The challenges that confront the Society are ever changing and not only do we need to maintain our existing equipment but we also wish to ensure the facilities we have at Glasgow Green are maintained and improved.
We also believe that there is an ever growing need to educate the young and the not so young in local water safety and to enrol their assistance in improving the immediate environment on the waterways.
The Society is deeply involved in making the Clyde and the surrounding waterways a more attractive and safer environment for those who wish to see and enjoy them.
